License agreement
Effective 13 October 2026. Licensor: Shaik Shafi Ur Rahman, trading as MacMetric (LifeStacks), India.
1. License
Subject to this agreement, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use MacMetric on Macs that you own or control. Without a license key MacMetric runs in a limited free mode; a purchased license unlocks all features for the version you bought and its updates for the 1.x series.
2. Restrictions
You may not: (a) copy, sell, rent or sublicense MacMetric; (b) reverse engineer or remove license checks, except where law allows; (c) share license keys publicly.
3. Privacy
MacMetric runs locally and sends no telemetry. See the Privacy page. License keys are validated on your device.
4. Actions you take
MacMetric can stop processes, move files to the Trash, permanently empty the Trash, and move files into folders you choose (File Organizer, with undo). These actions happen only after you confirm them. You are responsible for reviewing what you confirm and for keeping backups.
5. Updates
Software may contain bugs. The licensor may provide updates, which may change or remove features.
6. No warranty
MacMetric is provided "as is". Sensor and metric values depend on macOS and your hardware and may be unavailable or inaccurate. To the extent permitted by law, the licensor disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of data, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
8. Termination
This license ends if you breach it. On termination, delete all copies.
9. Third-party components
MacMetric uses only Apple system frameworks and has no third-party code dependencies.
10. Governing law
The laws of India apply. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not affected.
